Home. Wells Gray Provincial Park is one of Canada's hidden jewels. One of Wells Gray Park's nicknames is "the Waterfall Park", because of Helmcken, Dawson, Rainbow, Osprey and the other waterfalls that dot the Park. But really, that's just the tip of what there is to experience in Wells Gray. It's also home to black bears, grizzlies.. Wells Gray Park and Clearwater are seen as a camping mecca with over 350 wilderness campsites to choose from. There are three provincial campgrounds within Wells Gray Park and several privately owned campgrounds along the main access road to the Park and in the town of Clearwater. These campgrounds offer facilities such as electricity hook-ups.
